Palm Cottage Farm Trial 2010

This year Palm Cottage Farm hosted our fourth summer Sheepdog Trial. What a wonderful time we have each year getting together with our dear friends and rivals, sporting our most festive (and, in some cases, risque) island gear, and facing the challenge of the Corner Gate Outrun! Our 2010 trial was ably and enthusiastically judged by Wilda Bahr. Pat Shannahan once again stepped up to the big job of Course Director, and my generous crew of lovely assistants converged here early to set the course, decorate, prepare masses of food, get pedicures and comb through the local Goodwill.
